Duty Manager
Do you strive for quality with fresh energy? Are you ready for an interesting facility job as a coordinator in a unique working environment and not afraid to go hands-on? Then we are looking for you! In this dynamic role within an international environment, you will be responsible for managing the soft and hard services at the Amsterdam headquarters of our client, HERE Technologies. HERE Technologies is a location data and technology platform company.
As a Facility Coordinator you are crucial in creating a safe, organized and attractive workplace. A significant part of your role involves proactive facility management, where you are constantly alert to identify and resolve malfunctions, deviations, and hazardous situations. With innovations and other initiatives, we make sure that all employees have the best possible workplace experience.
As part of leading the day-to-day facilities operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of office events. This includes managing logistics, preparing spaces, liaising with vendors, and supporting internal stakeholders to ensure events run smoothly and reflect the high standards of the organisation.
In addition to your focus on facilities and events, you will also be part of the reception team during the community host’s break and at the end of the day.
As Facility coordinator you are part of the first response team and EHS committee Netherlands. With these teams you continuously work together to improve the conditions in the areas of Environment, Health and Safety. As a Facility Coordinator you have the total overview and will be valuable in identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
Together with your colleagues, the Facility Coordinator Eindhoven and the Account Manager HERE Technologies Netherlands, you will continuously work on improving the service provision, within the onsite teams, but also with the various partners (cleaning, security, catering, maintenance).
Who are you?
- Educated in Hotel Management, Event management or Facility Management, with relevant experience.
- Someone who takes ownership and has a solution-oriented mindset.
- A natural leader and communicator, who excels in English and Dutch.
- A person with a flexible and proactive mindset, capable of both strategic and practical thinking, and willing to roll up their sleeves if necessary.
