To cover a maternity leave, the FEI is seeking a full-time employee for its Commercial, Marketing & Communications Department. This six-month fixed-term position is due to begin on 1 March 2026, or on a mutually agreed date. The role is based in Lausanne.
Content Manager
Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Head of Content and Channel Management, the candidate will oversee the creation and delivery of engaging, brand-aligned content across FEI platforms, in order to enhance audience engagement and support the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply in-depth understanding of equestrian sports to develop content strategies that truly resonate with our audience and aligned with FEI’s strategic priorities;
- Identify and coordinate key communication opportunities around FEI events, projects, and campaigns in collaboration with the other Departments to ensure consistent messaging and efficient content production;
- Oversee the execution and scheduling of content across all channels, leading our social media strategy to strengthen our presence on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X;
- Liaise with partners for collaborative activations, co-posting opportunities, and joint storytelling;
- Lead the editorial direction of FEI.org, ensuring content quality, accuracy, and alignment with strategic priorities;
- Direct functional leads at the FEI Media House, coordinating with a network of content production professionals and freelancers;
- Manage our broadcast magazine's editorial direction and collaborate with media rights team for maximum exposure;
- Create engaging marketing content that enhances our events and campaigns;
- Create engaging sports and lifestyle content that enhances events, campaigns, and overall storytelling;
- Lead the planning and delivery of our Olympics coverage; and
- Drive innovation in branded content in close collaboration with the Campaign Manager, delivering measurable value to commercial partners.
Position Requirements
- Equestrian Sports Aficionado: Demonstrated expertise in at least one FEI discipline.
- Experienced Manager: Proven track record in managing content production teams, production companies, and freelancers.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Arts, Journalism, or English or equivalent.
- Digital Savvy: Strong skills in digital and social media platforms.
- Communication Pro: Excellent in English, both spoken and written, with top-notch communication and relationship management skills.
