Facility Coordinator
As a Facility Coordinator you are crucial in creating a safe, organized and attractive workplace. A significant part of your role involves proactive facility management, where you are constantly alert to identify and resolve malfunctions, deviations, and hazardous situations. With innovations and other initiatives we make sure that all employees have the best possible workplace experience.
In addition to contract management, organizing and coordinating technical projects, managing the maintenance of all assets, and coordinating events, you will also be part of the reception team during the community host’s break and at the end of the day.
As a Facility Coordinator, you are part of the first response team and EHS committee Netherlands. With these teams you continuously work together to improve the conditions in the areas of Environment, Health and Safety. As a Facility Coordinator you have the total overview and will be valuable in identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
Together with your colleagues, Facility Coordinator Eindhoven and the Account Manager HERE Technologies Netherlands, you will continuously work on improving the service provision, within the onsite teams, but also with the various partners (cleaning, security, catering, maintenance).
What are you going to do in this role?
• Greet guests with a warm welcome and ensure a smooth departure experience.
• Proactively identify and resolve any disruptions affecting HERE employees or their guests.
• Coordinate and manage events.
• Serve as a backup for transferring incoming calls for HERE Eindhoven.
• Forward complaints, requests, incidents, and malfunctions to the appropriate teams for resolution.
• Handle internal communications regarding facility updates, closure dates, and more.
• Manage the receipt and distribution of incoming mail.
• Oversee parking space allocation and waste management.
• Actively participate in the First Response Team at HERE Amsterdam.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee and office supplies.
• Encourage employees to reserve workspaces through PLANON.
• Conduct a monthly review of the Safety Playbook, updating as needed
Who are you?
- HBO-educated in Facility Management or a related field, with relevant experience in facility project management.
- Someone who takes ownership and have a solution-oriented mindset.
- Natural leader and communicator, who excels in English and can speak basic Dutch.
- Person with a flexible and proactive mindset, capable of both strategic and practical thinking, and willing to roll up their sleeves if necessary.
